SO WHAT IS THE GAMES DEPARTMENT...?! The Games Department exists of: Metin Seven, designer and graphic artist; Ramon Braumuller, composer and musician; Reinier van Vliet, designer and programmer. The Games Department is a division of the Dutch multimedia company the Valkieser Group and is specialized in designing and creating complete computer games. Each of us at T.G.D. builds upon many years of experience in his individual discipline. Formerly known as Team Hoi, we are responsible for several successful commercial titles, released worldwide through the years by a number of publishers. The Amiga game "Hoi" was our greatest success. Back in 1992, the varied and enjoyable platform game was cheerfully received by the press with great reviews all around the world. Some actual Amiga magazine quotes out of Hoi reviews: Amiga Mania: "Graphically the game is well presented, just like an arcade game; well animated, good colours, the lot. The soundtrack has to be one of the least loathsome this year, particularly the intro, which has everything from guitar to drum solos." "Commercially this game has everything going for it. A great deal of work has gone into every aspect, and it shows. Hoi deserves to be a best-seller and to have many sequels." The One: "Hoi is an arcade adventure so pure that it brings back memories of what games used to be about." Another succesful game by the Moon Child team, the first to appear for MS-DOS and MS-Windows as well, was "Clockwiser", an original, addictive puzzle game. Clockwiser was also received warmly by the world computer game press. For an overview of the best known releases by Team Hoi, have a look at Team Hoi's greatest hits.
