Short: The Speris Legacy walkthrough / hints Author: Kyzer/CSG Uploader: Kyzer/CSG Type: game/hint Architecture: m68k-amigaos The Speris Legacy is a Zelda-like adventure game written by Binary Emotions, published by Team 17 software. It's a fun game, but every so often it gets quite illogical, and gets a lot of people stuck along the way. However, I, along with Murray Kendrick (and Team 17 support :) have finished the game, and I decided to write a solution. Rather than write a walkthrough, I thought I'd write a set of InvisiClue style hints. The InvisiClue style is that there are questions/topics for every scenario in the game, and the answers are revealed one line at a time, progressing from overviews of the solution, to the explicit answer. For every level there is a rundown of what you have to do on that level, so you can see if you've missed anything. The hints are available both as plain text and Universal Hint System format. They were designed to be read in UHS format, and you'll get most enjoyment from them with the UHS reader. To use the UHS hints, also get game/hint/AmiUHS_12.lha from Aminet, or you can read them on the web (requires a browser with Javascript) at http://www.uhs-hints.com/uhsweb/speris.phtml Thanks to Murray Kendrick (for email discussions a few years ago), Team 17 support (for the same reason), Jason Strauthman (for publishing the hints in UHS format), Ray Earle (for putting the hints on his cheats site), BKJ (for pointing out a logical inconsistancy), Binary Emotions (for writing the game) and of course Nintendo for creating the legendary Zelda series, thereby giving Binary Emotions something worth stealing!
