SHORT: An 8x8 nonprop bitmapped cursive font. Architecture: generic FineScript font v 1.0 for the Amiga is ©1993 Brian C. Wright. This font is an 8x8 sized non-proportional font that can completely replace topaz in that size. I wrote this font because I needed something different in this size. Topaz gets really boring and I decided to take on this challenge. There are still a few problems with the font, but by and large it is complete. I want to work on refining a few more of the characters, but it conforms completely to the ISO Latin character set. I am currently using the font to write this readme file. While it's not topaz, it isn't that hard to read once you get used to it. The cool thing is that each letter connects into the next. If you like the font and would like to donate anything to me, feel free. ;) I'll take money, disks, etc. If you use this font on a regular basis, please consider donating $5.00 US to me just so that you can use it free of guilt. :) Thanks and Enjoy!! ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- Distribution: This font may be distributed provided this readme file and the font remain together. Charging for distribution is not allowed. This includes all pay bbses and online services. If the file can be obtained for free or within a reasonable cost (the price of a disk to put the file on, for example (less than $3.00)) it may be distributed this way. Ftp sites on Internet are free to include this font. All conversions of this font to any other format is strictly prohibited and is governed by the author. This font is freely redistributable following the above distribution guidelines. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- My name and address : Brian Wright 2207 Bois D'Arc #110 Commerce, Texas USA 75428 My email address via Internet is wright@merlin.etsu.edu wright%merlin.etsu.edu@ricevm1.rice.edu
