Short: CpuBlit 1998 recompile for 68040 Author: Eddy Carroll, Andreas R. Kleinert (redone) Uploader: Andreas_Kleinert t-online de Type: util/boot Architecture: m68k-amigaos CpuBlit replaces the system BltBitMap routine with a version that uses your 68020/68030 when it is worthwhile to do so. This results in text scrolling twice as fast as usual, and in addition, the color flicker effect normally present when scrolling multicolor text is removed. ************************************************************************** This is a recompile of the (still useful) 1991 version of CPUBlit. It's been recompiled with SAS/C 6.58 with code optimization done for 040/060 systems and includes some other small improvements, mainly related to the new compiler version. Hope, Eddy does not mind about this new version - however, I could not find any such restrictions within the docs. Have fun. -- ARK, 03/Jul/98 P.S.: the new FBlit causes problems with my CV64/3D and CyberGfx, but CPUBlit just seems to work fine P.P.S.: find about the changes yourself; the original archive is available under "CpuBlit.lha"
