Short: Prevent validation when reset pressed V0.9 Author: coder@mat.uni.torun.pl (Marek Lech) Uploader: coder mat uni torun pl (Marek Lech) Type: util/boot Architecture: m68k-amigaos This small programm prevent disk validtion after user pressed reset when some files where opened for writting. It simply close all unclosed files when reset occured (by the RESET I mean when user press CTRL+LAMIGA+RAMIGA). How to use it. It is very simple. You only have to copy it eg. to c: directory, and then start it from WB or shell. You can also start it from startup-sequence (I recomend to put it at the begining of startup-sequence). When you started it nothing is hapened (nothing visible), but when you reset your Amiga it's working. If screen getting green for a while after reset it means that there was some unclosed files. Reset may be a little bit longer from now but I think it's better then validation. I have been using it for few mounths and it's working good (I have no disk validation for this time). It was tested on A1200 but it should run ok. on your Amiga if your Amiga handle reset interrupt (just test it). Caution!!! Use this program on you own risk. This programm is freeware (but if you want to send me something, feel free to do it). My address: Marek (Coder) Lech Pl. Wolnosci 5d/2 11-300 Biskupiec POLAND E-Mail: coder@mat.uni.torun.pl
