Short: Set the skip mode bit in Rev. G Ramsey Author: ville9@softpres.org (Christian Sauer) Uploader: ville9 softpres org (Christian Sauer) Type: util/boot Version: 1.0 Architecture: m68k-amigaos This utility sets the skip mode bit in Rev. G Ramsey of A4000(T), switching motherboard RAM access time from 80 ns to 60 ns. You can run SpeedRamsey from Startup-Sequence or you can load it as resident RomTag with a program like LoadModule (by Thomas Richter and Etienne Vogt). If you own a flash memory card like Algor or Kickflash, you can also load SpeedRamsey into FlashROM of course. DON'T USE THIS PROGRAM UNLESS YOU HAVE 60 NS OR FASTER RAM INSTALLED. USE IT ON YOUR OWN RISK. Thanks to Holger Lubitz for the original idea.
