Short: fast arrangement of windows via hotkeys Author: marcus.gerards@gmail.com (Marcus Gerards) Uploader: marcus gerards gmail com (Marcus Gerards) Type: util/cdity Version: 1.0 Architecture: m68k-amigaos WinZoom README 25/May/2014 Introduction: AmigaOS 3.x's possibilities of arranging windows using standard Intuition gadgets are quite poor by today's standards. The only enhancement since 1985 has been the introduction of the zoom-gadget with OS2.0, which would've eventually been dropped in later versions, according to DevCon '93 notes. WinZoom tries to remedy this situation, allowing fast arrangement of windows using various hotkey combinations. By pressing keys you can: - maximize the active window on the current screen - shrink the active / all windows to minimum or predefined dimensions - cascade all windows - restore windows to their former dimensions - maximize a window to the left/right/upper/lower half of the screen - switch between windows Requirements: Any machine running OS3.x (maybe 2.x - not tested). Works fine on AmigaOS4 and MorphOS, too. Version information: This release has been developed and tested on various Amiga hardware, both real and emulated, but may contain bugs, crash your machine and frighten your cat. Changes for V1.0: - initial release You've got questions, bugs reports, suggestions or general feedback? You want to translate WinZoom into your language?
