Short: Preference Editor v1.1 for cron programs Author: laza@sun.ph-cip.uni-koeln.de Uploader: laza sun ph-cip uni-koeln de Type: util/wb Architecture: m68k-amigaos What is TimeEvent? With the TimeEvent Preference Editor you can control the execution times of a list of programs. You can popup a requester to remind you of a special date, start a backup every week or let your computer fetch your email during the night, because of the lower rates. As with the System Preference Editors, there has to be an additional program to perform the settings made with TimeEvent. This program is called cron and it runs in the background. (There is no cron prg in this archive!) Changes 1.1 : TimeEvent: ---------- - stores the TimeEvent.prefs file in ENVARC: (ENV:), instead of ENVARC:Sys (ENV:Sys) - opens Edit-window after doubleclick on an ListView entry - after every run of TimeEvent there was a loss of about 12K mem. :-((((( This has been fixed. - now parses ranges (eg. 1-3) in a given CronTab 1.0 : - public release
